Cute computer.jpgReading Rocket--Starts in September and runs through May. ECE thtough third grade go to the Denver Public Library's Bookmobile and check out books and DVD's on a rotating basis.

Cute computer.jpgGrandparents Day--in September. The grandparents are invited to read to the students for a day.
Cute computer.jpgDr. Suess Day-Read Across America--March 2 The principal reads Dr. Suess books to the students.
Cute computer.jpgFamily Book Check Out--offered everyday before and after school.
Cute computer.jpgReading Nights--three times a year. Mrs. Epps, the teacher librarian, performs talks for parents on various topics such as the importance of reading aloud to their children. The parents check out books through the school library and then read together with their children.

Cute computer.jpgVolunteer's Tea--in May. All the people who volunteered at Kaiser throughout the school year are invited to share a very special time to say thank you and we appreciate your help and support. Punch and cake are served.
Cute computer.jpgBell Grant Books--over 1400 picture books and non-fiction books for ECE through first grade. Monthly book baskets are supplied to classrooms in these grades.
Cute computer.jpgComputer Lab with 30 computers--located just off the library where many fun technology projects are completed.
Cute computer.jpgMini Computer Lab in the library--nine computers are located here for students' use, ELA use, parent use, etc.
Cute computer.jpgParent Resource area--contains books for parents on good parenting, Autism, discipline, etc.
Cute computer.jpgCo-teach with the classroom teacher library and classroom coordinated curriculum lessons--all lessons are colaborative with the classroom teacher and the classroom curriculum in all grades.
